Packing your instruments

Our packaging is reusable. Retain it for your next shipment.

  1. ALWAYS box the instruments tightly, using enough padding to prevent any shifting or punctures, and NEVER use soft-sided packaging alone.

  2. Put a copy of your Packing Slip inside your box.

ALERT: Instruments will easily pierce packaging if not packed correctly.

Shipments

Return shipment will be by Priority Mail. Please advise us if you prefer another carrier.

We will sharpen instruments from all manufacturers. You will not be charged for any instruments that we consider unsuitable for use.  These we will tag as ‘Unrepairable’. If we receive an instrument having one end broken off we will assume you want the remaining end sharpened. Our instrument usability assessments are subjective and are always to be regarded as secondary to your own professional judgement. We do not do re-tipping or re-coating.
